We are pleased to announce that Farmind Corporation has adopted NewCommunicator to enhance the efficiency and impact of its internal communications.
Based on Farmind corporate philosophy of “Bringing producers and consumers together,” Farmind operates a nationwide cold chain network, delivering fresh produce—such as bananas, avocados, and apples—to consumer across Japan.
The Decision to Implement NewCommunicator
Farmind’s System Support Department oversees employee device setup, help desk operations, and internal system planning. While the team has long relied on email newsletters to promote IT literacy, they encountered ongoing challenges in ensuring that important updates consistently reached every employee and resonated across the organization.
To solve this, Farmind turned to NewCommunicator, leveraging Microsoft Teams—already central to employees’ daily workflows—as a more intuitive and dependable channel for internal messaging. To make the app more familiar and approachable, Farmind rebranded it as “Shisusapo” (a shortened form of “system support” in Japanese) and introduced a paper airplane-themed icon to reflect the tone and purpose of the messages being shared. Messages are now delivered via push notifications directly to individual chats on Teams, including those of frontline staff, dramatically improving visibility and engagement.

Looking ahead, we plan to expand the use of NewCommunicator to include content from other departments, further enhancing the quality and reach of internal communications.”
