The Decision to Implement NewCommunicator
At Taisei Corporation, Microsoft Teams has become a widely used communication platform among employees. However, when it came to disseminating important updates—such as corporate policies and leadership messages— the company heavily relied on email and intranet postings. These traditional channels made it difficult to track message reach or engagement, raising concerns about whether key messages were actually reaching employees.
In addition, department-specific announcements often required frequent manual updates to recipient lists to reflect staff transfers or organizational changes, creating inefficiencies and increasing workload on teams responsible for internal communications.
To address these challenges, Taisei decided to implement NewCommunicator, a specialized SaaS solution built exclusively for Microsoft Teams. The platform offers both company-wide message broadcasting and targeted communication capabilities based on employee attributes. By managing recipient lists through security groups, the company can now reduce the operational burden of keeping distribution lists up to date following staff transfers or organizational changes.
Furthermore, Taisei also utilizes CSV-based uploads for more granular segmentation, providing flexibility beyond the limits of security groups.
One of the key advantages that contributed to the decision was NewCommunicator’s built-in reporting features, which enables organizations to track message reach and open rates—a longstanding gap in existing communication methods. The solution’s scalable licensing model and its potential for future feature enhancements were also highly valued, aligning with Taisei’s evolving communication needs.
How NewCommunicator Is Already Making an Impact

For recipients, messages are accessible anytime, anywhere, from PCs to smart devices. For Senders, the intuitive interface makes composing and distributing messages straightforward. Managing and updating recipient lists is also far easier, which has dramatically reduced the operational overload.
What’s more, NewCommunicator has sparked a shift in how information is conveyed. We’re no longer limited to traditional formal, text-heavy announcements. Instead, we are now making conscious efforts to use visually compelling content to improve clarity and impact.
NewCommunicator has already become a powerful tool in promoting and embedding our new business plan internally. We’re now considering expanding its use to regional branches and headquarters divisions. Going forward, we’ll continue to evolve our internal communication infrastructure to drive even stronger engagement throughout the organization.”
