Purpose of use
Replacing Microsoft Company Communicator
Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT), an NHS healthcare provider in England, has adopted NewCommunicator as an alternative to Microsoft's open-source Company Communicator app template.
Following the retirement of Company Communicator, MPFT sought a solution that would allow it to continue sharing planned staff announcements and updates through Microsoft Teams.
The Trust plans to use NewCommunicator for scheduled staff announcements and information sharing through Microsoft Teams.

Meeting MPFT's supplier requirements
As part of the supplier onboarding process, Communitio obtained Cyber Essentials certification and completed registration with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
These steps formed part of Communitio's preparations to meet MPFT's security and compliance requirements.
Microsoft certifications
NewCommunicator has achieved the Certified Software Designation for Modern Work under the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
The app has also obtained Microsoft 365 App Certification, following an assessment against Microsoft's security and compliance requirements.
